On December 6, 2004, UIMEX partnered with the Greater Houston Partnership (Houston Chamber of Commerce) to organize a seminar titled “Vietnam: Trade & Finance Opportunities.” The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (formerly the Ministry of Commerce), leaders from the Trade Promotion Department, and 15 directors of Trade Departments from various provinces and cities across Vietnam. The seminar was held at 1200 Smith, Suite 700, Houston, Texas 77002.
