Những điều cần biết về Chương trình EB-5

EB-5 là một chương trình nhập cư dựa trên đầu tư, trong đó các nhà đầu tư nước ngoài khi đầu tư vào Hoa Kỳ và tạo việc làm cho người lao động ở Mỹ, người đầu tư có thể nộp đơn xin thường trú, gọi là “Thẻ xanh”.

  • Một nhà đầu tư đầu tư tối thiểu là 1,050,000 USD hoặc 800,000 USD vào “khu vực việc làm mục tiêu” –

    targeted employment area (TEA) và tạo ra 10 việc làm cho người lao động Mỹ có thể đạt được quyền thường trú (hoặc thẻ xanh) cho chính họ và các thành viên gia đình đủ điều kiện. Để đủ điều kiện được coi là “khoản đầu tư”, dự án của nhà đầu tư bắt buộc phải có rủi ro.

  • Chương trình có nhiều yêu cầu và quy định khác nhau như cách tính công việc, những tài liệu cần cung cấp và hơn thế nữa. Có 2 hình thức đầu tư, đầu tư trực tiếp hoặc thông qua Trung tâm khu vực do liên bang chỉ định (USICS). Khi đầu tư trực tiếp, nhà đầu tư sẽ đầu tư trực tiếp vào một công ty tạo việc làm.
